What is ACE Online?
ACE Online is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). In ACE Online,
players adventure together in a spacious intergalactic world where they form friendships,
slay monsters and profit through questing or player versus player confrontations.
Is there a monthly fee to play ACE Online?
No. Subagames provides ACE Online FREE for everyone to enjoy.
How do I create an ACE Online Account/Username?
To begin your adventures in the world of ACE Online, you will first need to create
a username/account. This is done by clicking on REGISTER located at the top-right
side of the ACE Online webpage. You will be redirected to our Subagames registration
page. Simply fill in the required information, then write it down for future reference
and then click the "I Accept. Register" button to complete the activation.
I have a username with another game SubaGames provides, do I need another for ACE
Online?
No. Once you have created a username/account that information will apply to all
MMORPG s Subagames offers.
Are there online Forums for ACE Online?
Yes. You can visit the forums section by clicking on FORUM, located at the
top right section of the ACE Online homepage.
How do I whisper or reply to another player in game?
To chat with another player via a whisper, type: \"name message For example: \"Joe
Hello! Joe will receive the message as: Hello! If you type \" while whispering with
someone, it will automatically enter the name of the last player you contacted or
the last player who contacted you.
How do I request a duel?
To chat with another player via a whisper, type: \"name message You can alt-click
the name and select 1:1 battle. You can also press F3 and enter the name. If a player
does not wish to duel, don t pester them.
What happens to my character when it dies?
If you're killed by a monster or a crash, you'll lose SPI. If you don't have enough
SPI to lose, you'll lose a certain percentage of EXP. If you re killed by a player
or an enemy nation's defenses, you don't lose anything.
How do I use Skills?
Press F6 and then click on Skill . Drag your skills into the action bar on the bottom,
below your experience bar. You can use those skills by pressing the corresponding
key. A skill in slot 1 is used by pressing 1 , and so on. You can only use skills
if you have enough SP.
TROUBLESHOOTING
I received an error after inputting my login and password.
- Make sure your username and password are correct. If you misplaced your username
and cannot remember it, or perhaps your password is not being accepted, click on
the "LOST ID/PASSWORD" link at the top of the webpage. Follow the procedure
to change the required area and regain access to your account.
- Make sure you have internet connection.
- It is possible our servers are performing maintenance and may be offline for a short
period of time. Check for any News/Updates on the games homepage. If the downtime
is for a prolonged period of time, we will inform everyone as soon as possible.
My game crashed and gave me a “Connection to the server has been lost. Client will
be terminated (FieldWinSocket WS_Closed)” what do I do?
- Disable your firewall/anti-virus and try running the game
- If running later versions of windows, (i.e Vista or Windows 7) be sure to run ACE:
online under windows 95 compatibility mode.
- If you are still experiencing errors turn off as many applications as you can.
I keep experiencing random disconnects, what can I do.
- When starting ACE: Online, be sure to click ‘Run as Administrator’
- Try the manual patch located here.
- Run ACE: Online in Windows 95 compatibility mode.
I am not able to log on, my client crashes every time I try to load the game.
- Be sure to check your firewall and anti-virus, as they can interfere with the game.
- Reinstall the most recent patch, if that does not work, reinstall the entire client,
which can be found here.
